Effective: 30 July 2026 Last updated: 30 July 2026

Terms at a glance

Use this website respectfully and only for lawful, personal purposes. Our Tai Chi and wellness material is educational, not medical care or a substitute for qualified instruction. Content and downloads remain protected by intellectual-property law. Additional checkout terms shown before a premium purchase will also apply.

If you do not agree with these terms, please stop using the website.

1 Acceptance of these terms

These Terms & Conditions form an agreement between you and SmartFlow Tai Chi regarding your access to and use of https://smartflowtaichi.com/ (the “Website”). By visiting, browsing, submitting a form, downloading a resource or purchasing a product, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

2 Eligibility and responsibility

You must be legally capable of entering into this agreement. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these terms and supervise your use. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit and for keeping any access link, account credential or order information secure.

3 Educational purpose

The Website provides general information about Tai Chi, mindful movement, breathing, philosophy, lifestyle and related wellness topics. Content is provided for learning and personal enrichment only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, physiotherapy, psychotherapy, emergency guidance or an individual training prescription.

Results vary by person. We do not promise any specific health, fitness, emotional, financial or other outcome from using the Website or its resources.

4 Safe Tai Chi practice

You voluntarily assume responsibility for deciding whether an activity is appropriate for you. Before beginning or changing an exercise programme, consult a qualified healthcare professional if you have an injury, medical condition, balance concern, are pregnant, recently had surgery, take relevant medication or are otherwise unsure.

  • Practise in a clear, stable space with suitable footwear and support where needed.
  • Work within a comfortable range; never force a joint, posture or breath.
  • Stop immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, faintness, chest discomfort, unusual shortness of breath or other concerning symptoms.
  • Seek appropriate professional or emergency assistance when required.
Important: Online material cannot assess your body, technique, surroundings or health history. When possible, learn unfamiliar movements with a suitably qualified instructor.

5 Acceptable use

You may use the Website for lawful, non-commercial, personal purposes. You must not:

  • interfere with security, availability or normal operation of the Website;
  • introduce malware, scrape at unreasonable volume, probe vulnerabilities or attempt unauthorised access;
  • impersonate another person, submit false information or use forms to send spam or abusive content;
  • copy, republish, sell, sublicense or commercially exploit protected material without written permission;
  • use the Website or its content in a way that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory or infringes another person’s rights.

6 Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the Website’s text, design, branding, graphics, original photographs, videos, downloadable guides, code and arrangement are owned by or licensed to SmartFlow Tai Chi and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to access the Website and use lawfully obtained resources for personal use. Brief quotations may be used with clear attribution and a link to the original page where legally permitted. No other rights are granted.

7 Forms, messages and submissions

When you contact us, request a resource, leave feedback or otherwise submit material, you confirm that it is accurate, lawful and yours to submit. You retain ownership of your original content, but grant us a limited licence to store, process and use it as necessary to respond, provide the requested service, protect the Website and meet legal obligations.

Do not send confidential medical records, payment-card data, passwords or other highly sensitive information through general contact forms. We may remove or disregard abusive, unlawful, promotional or irrelevant submissions.

8 Free resources and email delivery

Some guides or downloads are offered after you provide a name, email address and required consent. We may email the selected resource and essential delivery or support messages. Marketing emails will be sent only where you have separately opted in or another lawful basis applies, and they will include an unsubscribe method.

Free resources are licensed for your personal use and may not be resold, redistributed, uploaded to file-sharing services or presented as your own. Availability, format and content may change or be withdrawn without notice.

9 Premium resources, payment and refunds

If premium guides, courses or other paid offerings are introduced, the description, price, currency, taxes, delivery method, licence limits and any product-specific conditions displayed at checkout form part of your agreement. Prices and availability may change before an order is accepted.

Payment and fulfilment

Payments may be processed by an independent payment provider under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not normally receive or store your full payment-card details. An order is accepted when payment is confirmed and we issue confirmation or provide access. You must provide correct billing and delivery information.

Digital products and refunds

Digital content may be supplied immediately after purchase. Any refund, cancellation or replacement right will be governed by the terms shown at checkout, our applicable Refund Policy, mandatory consumer law and the nature of the product. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot legally be excluded.

10 Third-party services and links

The Website may link to or embed third-party websites, videos, social platforms, payment services, analytics tools, email services and products. We do not control their availability, content, security or practices. Your dealings with a third party are governed by that party’s terms.

Some links may be affiliate links. If you make a qualifying purchase, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. Such links do not guarantee that a product is suitable for your needs; make your own informed decision.

11 Website availability and changes

We aim to keep the Website useful and available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or secure operation. We may maintain, update, suspend, remove or restrict any page, feature or resource at any time. Content may contain typographical, technical or factual errors and may become outdated.

12 Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without express or implied warranties, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement or uninterrupted availability.

We do not warrant that every technique, recommendation, product, external link or resource will be suitable, safe or effective for every visitor. You remain responsible for your choices and use of the information.

13 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SmartFlow Tai Chi and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or loss of data, profit, opportunity or goodwill arising from your use of or inability to use the Website, resources or third-party services.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the extent permitted by law. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot be excluded, or any mandatory consumer right.

14 Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to compensate SmartFlow Tai Chi for reasonable losses, claims and costs resulting from your unlawful use of the Website, infringement of another person’s rights, or material breach of these terms. This provision does not apply where prohibited by consumer law.

15 Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access, block abusive submissions or revoke a resource licence where reasonably necessary to protect the Website, users or legal rights, or where these terms are materially breached. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, liability and dispute terms—will continue to apply.

16 Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without limiting any mandatory protections available to you under the law of your usual residence. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the concern informally.

Subject to applicable consumer law and the jurisdiction of competent statutory forums, courts with lawful jurisdiction in India will hear disputes relating to these terms.

Severability and entire agreement

If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. These terms, the Privacy Policy, applicable refund terms and any product-specific checkout terms form the agreement regarding the relevant service. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.

17 Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms to reflect changes in the Website, products, business practices or law. The “Last updated” date will show the latest revision. Material changes may also be highlighted on the Website or communicated through an appropriate channel. Your continued use after revised terms take effect means you accept them; if you disagree, stop using the Website.
